University of Évora
The Portuguese Language and Art History courses will be taught by faculty from the University of Évora. Professor Benjamin Taggie, of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and Évora faculty will teach the History course. All classes will be held at the University of Évora and students will have access to computers, libraries, and other services.
Ana Clara Birrento,
ON-SITE COORDINATOR Ana Clara Birrento is an Assistant Professor at the University of Évora. She has a PhD in English Literature and her research areas include English literature of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, mainly the novel. She has published interdisciplinary critical texts in the field of English literature and cultural studies, with a special focus on cultural categories as gender, community, the self and the other(s) and their literary representation.
