Location

The Mediterranean Studies Association, in cooperation with the University of Évora, is pleased to announce the establishment of a new program for English-speaking students to study in Portugal.

 

 

From June 16 - July 13, 2008 a group of approximately 12 students will commence the MSA Summer Program at the University of Évora. Évora is located 80 miles east of Lisbon in the region known as the Alentejo. Declared an UNESCO World Heritage Sitein 1985, this beautiful city of 45,000 is still encircled by its medieval walls. The University has a very long history being founded by the Jesuits in 1551 and many of the buildings date to the 16th century. For more information on Évora please consult this website.
